I’m still editing photos from Saturday and thought of my friend Laurin Rinder as I was working. Saturday, for the first time ever, I went completely manual. I had to get it right. I did shoot in RAW which gave me the advantage of being able to possibly salvage photos which I might not have otherwise saved. But what I realised tonight while working, is that I’m doing very little post processing. I’m getting it right in the camera! Thank you, Laurin, for your lessons in light and the ever present reminder to read the manual. Happy birthday to you and I wish you many more.
